Soon its goodbye to the 1900's (90`s)

As been around this crazy thing for several seasons from both girls combined, this is the last year we see a team that is not listed with a year 2000 number. The 1999 girls are now in their second year of 18u ball. Oldest was a `96 when she played.
Yeah nothing important or anything, but thought it will be kind of sad to the the 90`s age group forever be closed out after next summer and all teams will be 2000 and on.

Just my odd thought of the day.

Well my older girl is in college as of Friday so I'm totally feeling this one. Don't seem that long ago the 99's were the babies in 10u....

Barry you are not alone lamenting the last of the 19's. I posted a comment a few years ago cracking up about 2002 teams now we are already posting 2006 teams. Out with the old guard in with the new I guess...

Yesterday it hit me when I realized my oldest is a senior at Ashland U and started looking for girls that competed against m younger dd. But when you put it in softball perspective, most of Buckeye Heat's team that Carol (cgs) coached is either seniors or graduated college. I only mention that team because my oldest subbed for her.
