Anyone on here with comments about the SCOL? I saw a thread on JJ but only Blue Lions fans seem to be posting.
I think the top runners are going to be MT and MP. Madison plains has returning pitcher and catcher. MT had two quality pitchers last year, a Junior Elzey and a Sophmore, Mick. Unfortunately, unless Greenfield gets a "ringer" we won't see much of them. They lost their starting pitcher of 3 years and don't have a quality pticher for this year. They have a lot of talent with their bats, but won't mean much if they don't have a pitcher.
Lions have returning pitcher Dugan, nice change up but not much speed or movement on her ball. Any new faces to see?
Hopefully, we will see an improvement in Hillsboro and Clinton Massie. Not sure about London, heard they lost quite a few quality players last year.

Well i can say for London that we did lose 3 starting seniors which helped the team alot but I think with some of the upcoming freshman that they can just about fill the spots of the lost seniors. We are just going to have to try really hard and try to compete in EVERY game! Also wanted to say good luck to all of the other teams. I know that Massie had a really good pitcher that i believe is coming back which will be good for them. I agree with you about Court House with their pitching coming back. Hillsboro they have a very heart filled team that never quits. Madison Plains has also kept their pitcher, Conn and the catcher Kaiser will also be back. Miami Trace has solid hitters on their team that no matter who the pitcher they will kill the ball. Greenfield like you said lost their pitcher but i am sure that they will be able to rebuild from that. Well Good Luck Everyone and cant wait till Febuary 25 ;D

I am so glad to hear about your team! You guys gave us Miami Trace a run for our money last year. I think we only won by 1 or 2 runs. Good luck to you and your team. My daughter loves competition and we feel so sorry for Hillsboro when we play them. They really seemed to stuggle last year.
I have heard Greenfield is expecting a transfer girl from Georgia who pitched down there. This was speculation by their coach last year. They have some awesome defensive and hitters on their team. The season will be a sad one as they lost an outfielder in a tragic car accident the beginning of the school year. Hopefully, they will have a good season.
Good luck to all

Well MT picked it's varsity yesterday. We should have a pretty good team. Coach may have pulled up a couple that would have gotten more playing time on JV, but I guess that is his perogative.
MT returns two awesome pitchers from last year, Kasey Elzey and Olivia Mick. There are a lot of seniors on this them this year, Amanda Yoakum (JV last year), Tracey Bryant (3rd year varsity), Lindy Berry (3rd year varsity), Priscilla Strayer (4th year varsity), Cara Vergamini (3rd year varsity), Jessie Furnace (2nd year varsity), Jen (catcher sorry don't know her last name 3rd year varsity) and Breanne (1st year varsity, I also don't know her last name), Almost forgot 2 more seniors Nancy Coulter, and Sarah ?, this is Nancy's 2nd or 3rd year and Sarah's first on varsity.
All that experience, plus awesome pitchers and watch out for Miami Trace this year! We tied 3 ways for the league last year, hopefully we will win it outright this year.

Does anyone else out there have news about their team? Did Greenfield get the pitcher they were hoping for? How is London, Massie and Hillsboro shaping up? WCH or Madison Plains?
We are hoping for an awesome year. We have a lot of talent on our team 9 returning varsity players, 7 seniors, one sophmore and one junior. We have 4 girls brought of from JV, one of which hit 3 home runs over the fence in one game! Can't wait until the 31st, hopefully the rain will go away so we can play some softball. We have only been outside one day so far.
