Don't know about the 14's but that 18u tourney should be indicator of how good some of the top teir ohio 16's will compete nationally.Lets go Ohio 16's.Will probably stop in to see some very good small ball/pitching in these Spano events.

Why are these questions asked, yet the poster doesn't give his opinion......not sure what it is worth - But if gonna ask the question, then give yours!

Some of the best 14U teams in the state are playing up. Turnin2 is playing 16U & Lasers Orange is playing 18U. IMO, those are the two best 14U teams in the state & if they ever square off I would pay $50 to umpire that game (best seat in the house) . Other powerhouse teams are also playing up this year as well. There are so many unknowns in the 14U division, so many out of town teams. Our bracket alone has teams from 4 states! Being an '01 team, and just a decent team at that, I am assuming there are 19 other teams in this tourney that can beat us. Each pool has one or maybe two teams that I know, but again...so many unknowns that It's a pure gamble for me to comment as of yet.
Hence the post....maybe we'll know more in a month.
We are looking forward to getting out onto a diamond for the first time this year & we wish every team in the tourney the best of luck & hopes for no injuries.

Isn't Turnin2 from Michigan? Also Lasers Orange are 16u, not 14u this year.

Yes, and I have seen Turnin2 in a couple Ohio outings this past fall. If they played against Lasers Orannge....I could care less if that game is played in Texas...would be a great game. I know they played last year...I'm not sure if Turnin2 reloaded very well this past Summer or what, but the Turnin2 team I saw this past fall is for real! I am not implying that there are not other great teams around. There are a LOT of them. Classics '00, Vipers, can name a half dozen EXCELLENT '00 teams. Just a personal desire to see that game played. Orange is their '00 team, right? I know my '01 team played them in Spano 2 years ago. Thought they were '00

looks like a few teams missing from last year. several girls moved on to different teams. don't know if that weekend will tell much i'd say once they get outside and the other teams get in the mix it will tell.
