Spano Dome Tournaments & NSA States

NSA doesn't have anything called an alternate state.
Teams must play qualify and then participate in the State Tournament to retain the World Berth. Only exception is a Wolrd Series NIT winner can by pass the State. These haven't been approved to be NIT's.

I have a question about this?? now I do not wish to step on any toes and I wish no hard feelings, but this occurred to me as I read this post... NSANORTH is a rookie poster and as the NORTH-CENTRAL VP, he just jumped on OFC to answer THIS question.. now anybody could use that screen name and put his credentials at the bottom???

Bill, if this was u, I mean you no disrespect, this was just a question I asked myself when I saw this and everybody kinda got up in arms about it???????

Think he left a telephone for anyone to call on the bottom of his signature.

"One Ringie - a - dingie" to find out the answer to that question.

I still do not understand how an indoor tournament can be an alternate state/qualifer for an outdoor national. Indoor is a different animal with its own benefits AND limitations. Unless you play 9 on 9 with dirt, a real sized outfield and a ceiling high enough for no obstructions its not the same, period. That is not saying its not benificial for live hitting/pitching and breaking up the winter boardom.

when we call our principal for supplies/parents of unruly students/ringer's house we get this message...."dee doo dee, sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service. Please hang up and try your call again."

But didn't the same thing happen before last season's Spano tournament? They called it an alternate state tournament , people who seemed to be in the know said there were no alternate state tournaments, and the winners were indeed able to bypass the state tournament when it all played out.

The state tournament requirement is bad enough, an indoor alternate (or even an indoor qualifier, to me) is even worse, but when the TD and the reps can't even agree on what it is, that's the worst.

I am not questioning Bill at all about this... I was just saying that anyone could post a message claiming to be Bill.... Heck I could have posted that message and you would not have known it was from me.. I was just thinking that it was odd, that he only has one or 2 posts and he jumped in to answer this question, but it could very easily be him..

Personally I could care less about the N$A. I'd rather play Utrip or IFA if not playing ASA.
