Thanks for the kind words. Our girls had to mature a lot this winter to compete. I'm very proud of all of their accomplishments as should you be of your team. You have a fine group of ladies who play hard. I know you will have a very sucessful season. Good Luck.

I must give due credit to both 14Uteams. Out of a field of 15 teams, there was never a doubt of who were the dominating teams.

What happened to the 14u Sapphires? I watched some games during the season and the Sapphires were CLEARLY the class of the league and I am told went easily undefeated during the season. I also thought the Rattlers looked better than many teams as well when they pitched their top girl.

My understanding the Sapphires were at an outdoor tournament, and the Rattlers were using alot of guest players due to high school ball.
I am also pretty sure the Lightning was undefeated, and the Pride lost only 2.

The Sapphires were a good team in the league but had at least one loss which was to the Valley Sting. I also heard the Sapphires didn't have enough girls to play over the weekend. Also the Rattlers are a good team as well as one of the finalists. the Lightning, played them twice during the season winning one and the other ending in a tie. The indoor league can get carzy as some girls are playing for the JV or V school team and others have other conflicts such as volleyball or basketball. At least now we go outsides and by the end of May all the teams will be at or close to full strength so we will be able to see the better teams.
