I have a DD that is a 10u pitcher and she wears glasses. Unfortunately, with only being 10, she is not quite old enough or responsible enough for contacts. So, we are looking into getting her some sports goggles or glasses that are made with the safety glass that won't break. Especially since she is a pitcher.
This is all new to us, so I'm reaching out to get a little advise from those who may have experience with this. Insurance only pays for one pair, so I'm trying to make the right choice.
The first question is would you go with the kind that looks more like a pair of sunglasses or go with the actually goggles that have the strap that goes around the head?
The second question is would you go with the tinted or regular lenses? I'm kind of torn because the tinted would be nice when its sunny out. But we do live in Ohio and those days aren't of an abundance. haha. And you obviously wouldn't want tinted when she is working inside all winter.
I appreciate any feedback I can get. Thanks in advance for your guidance.
