With the Central District D3 losing seven from the prior two years and only adding Fredericktown for a total of (19) D3 teams, this means they will now only get (2) 1st Team All-Ohio, (2) 2nd, and (2) Honorable Mention. Been 3 for each of the 9 years I have coached HS ball. So glad our District President a few years back made it 1 for every 7 teams. Screwed kids back then and were still penalizing them now!!!

In 2004 and 2005 DIII Central district teams only got two All Staters at each level. Since then I believe we have gotten three for each level.

The one for every seven is for All-District team members at each level. They have opened the number of Honorable Mention All-District players we can now have so I am not sure that overall we lost that many spots on the All-District team. I would like to see us go back to the 18 per level honorees though.
