Hi,

My name is Erika Warren. I am offering one-on-one catching or hitting lessons. My focus will be on fundamentals.

I have been playing softball and have been a catcher for 8 years. The last 4 years I was the starting catcher for North Canton Hoover HS. This summer will be my second season catching for the Beverly Bandits - Conroy. I will be playing at Kent State next fall. I have also caught for the Ohio Slammers and Lasers Scarlet.

Cost is $20 per half hour.

My DD is a 12u catcher for travel and rec ball for Fairless Falcons. She is VERY interested in meeting you and working with you on catching. Wondering where you do the workouts at? Please p.m. me or just throw a thread my way. Thanks so much. Its awesome to see young ladies on here looking to help out the younger ones!

This is a great opportunity for catchers who want to get better.
Erika was entirely too modest in her brief player bio. Since she used to play for me, I'll elaborate a little.
I consider her to be the most dominant Ohio catcher in the last decade. Her travel teams have had several top 10 finishes at both Premier and ASA nationals. Erika also was a major factor in North Canton Hoover High School's back-to-back state titles. Her Beverly Bandits team plays the best 18-Gold teams in the country.
When she played 12-U and 14-U, there were numerous times when Erika bailed her team out of tight spots with either pickoff plays or double plays involving home plate.
At that age she also displayed outstanding on-field leadership and had a deep understanding of the game -- not just her own position.
Over the weekend, I spoke with a knowlegeable softball parent who has used Erika for catching lessons for a 10-year-old. The parent said Erika tailored the lessons to her daughter's athletic and catching abilities and presented the catching techniques in a clear and progressive manner.
Parents and players should take advantage of this before Erika starts college in the fall.
