Stay in Softball is putting on a free clinic for Zanesville HS softball and Zanesville middle school players interested in HS softball. The new coach contacted us and said that the program has been struggling for a while. They have only had five winning seasons in the past 29 years. The coach wants to start turning things around and wanted to start with a clinic and setting the players up with equipment. The clinic will be at Zanesville HS on September 9th from noon until 3:00. We are really lucky to have two great instructors leading the clinic: Coach Tim Duncan and Coach Bob Hoiles. Coaches Duncan and Hoiles will lead the team through offensive and defensive drills and will show the players things they can do over the winter to improve their skills. We aren't opening the clinic up to outside players but are inviting any interested rec or school softball coaches to watch, learn and ask the instructors questions. If you are interested in attending please email us at stayinsoftball@gmail.com. We are also still looking for a few HS age travel player volunteers to assist at this clinic. Email us if you are interested.

Stay in Softball is also having a used equipment drive this Sunday at Outlaw Day. We will also be handing out information about Stay in Softball and recruiting new volunteers. If you are an Outlaw player or know one and have used equipment you want to donate, please bring it this Sunday or give it to an Outlaw player to bring with them.

Thank you to Coach Duncan, Coach Hoiles and Mr. Wolff for supporting Stay in Softball! We are always looking for new volunteer players and coaches so please e mail us if you are interested.

It's great to see that this very noble organization is continuing to make a difference in people's lives! Thanks to Karen, Meghan and all of the young ladies and their parents who make this organization possible, and special thanks to Tim, Bob and Warren for your support as well!
