Summer League in West Liberty

West Liberty Force is interested in starting a 14U Tuesday Nite league in West Liberty at the Lions Club Ball Park. Start early June through early Aug. (however the schedule works out). Room for 6 teams doubleheaders each nite. Play each team at least 3 or 4 times. Appox. cost $350 - $400 for 16 - 20 games each. Anyone interested? A little bit off-topic...

I umpired in two different men's tournaments this summer- one in Westerville and one in North Lewisburg- that had a team from West Liberty competing. They had a pitcher, number seven with the name "Lucky" on his jersey.

Was that by chance you, Lucky7sports?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that was definitely you, as the team I was thinking of was Mac O Chee. I'm also friends with a couple of the guys who have played on the West Liberty team- Jim Smith and Marty Majka. They have both played at one time or another for the same fastpitch team I play on in a Columbus league.

As for your pitching, I don't remember the outcome of the games, but do remember you as having a lot of really good movement on your pitches! ?

I've been doing some checking on this 14u league. I would like to start playing on the last Tuesday in May and continue until the last Tuesday in July. That will give us 10 weeks of double headers. With games starting at 6:00pm and 7:30pm. 1hour 20 minute games. We can play the same team in the second game or switch teams so we play 2 different teams each week. League Champion and Runner-Up trophies and plagues for the rest. Ind. trophies for players on the Champion and Runner-Up teams.
Each team will get 20 games (weather permitting) over a ten week period. I have room for 6 teams at cost of $450 ( any rain outs we will refund money for those weeks).
Teams interested are West Liberty Force, Ohio Heat Fury, Ridge Runners, Urbana LunaChix.

Just let me know about the 14u Danger team. Once I have commitment from 6 teams I will put together the schedule, I know we have time but the sooner it done the better it is for teams to do their schedules.

Looks like we start June 3rd at 6:00pm and 7:30pm
Each team will play 16 games over the next 8 weeks
Play each team 3 times and play a championship game on the last night.
Cost of the league will be $400.00 per team. Will break payment up over the coarse of the league with $150.00 due in the middle of May. $150.00 due 2nd week in June and $100.00 due 2 week of July. Or it can all be paid up front. Thanks Mitch West Liberty Force

Do you ever do any selling on eBay? The reason I ask is that there is a seller on there whose username is Lucky and his location is listed as North Lewisburg.

With that name and being up near your area I wondered if it was just a coincidence.
