Sunday scrimmage anyone?

I am coming up to Ohio this Saturday and Sunday - with my parka - to practice with the Ohio players on our 18u team. We would like to get a friendly together - 1 or 2 teams - from 9:00-12:00. Anyone interested?

Mark - maybe interested for a Saturday event given a have quite a few players attending camps on Sunday. Where would this take place?

Kavin - we are using Olentangy Liberty HS. Right now Sunday morning is the plan. We might do a split squad scrimmage. We can use kids from different teams and make it a fun event.

Hi Mark - I totally forgot but I have 7 players going to camps Sunday (I thought it was next weekend they were attending) as they reminded me last nite over email when I sent this possibility. Though we cant do this week, maybe we can schedule something later in the year.

I knew you looked familiar - I am too old to put 2+2 together!!! I wish I would have made the connection - I would have been much, much nicer..... You did a great job handling all us crazies all by yourself!!!

Before the scrimmage, the other coach, Chris, mentioned that you were here from Florida. It didn't really sink in at the time. On my way home, the name "flarays" when through my head and I wondered if maybe that was you.

After I got home, I checked the forum to see if I could find your first name associated with "flarays". Then I saw this thread and knew that it was you...unless there's another Mark from Florida who just happened to be having practice at the same field on the same day!

It was a pleasure working for you guys. That was a good little workout for me, too. And I needed it. Haven't work a game for almost a month and have some fall tournaments coming up to get ready for.
