Dee sent me the 14s but I thought I might try to catch some games in the other age groups as well over the weekend.

Since we allow teams to borrow players (roster issues), free defensive substitution (rules issues) and use field 3 for the younger age groups (8 on 8) we elected not to try to sanction it.

So officially, no - nothing for 2006. however.

Although there is no "qualification award or berth award" this league has been great for equal playing time, game experience for new players, pitching workout for all pitchers, etc.
Who can go wrong with 16 + games during the dead of winter. Helps break up practice time, evaluate players and team as a whole.

Really happy to see the huge turnout for the Feb. tourney in all age groups. Having Pony Nationals locally I think has helped pull the teams in. Should be some great competition in more of the local Pony Qualifier tourney this spring/summer. Alot of new faces from different places!
