Is it just me, or does there seem to be an ulterior motive lurking behind that Motel 6 sign?

I am beginning to think it's time to research camp grounds near overnight tournaments and pull out my tent and air matress.

You don't HAVE to stay at the fields...We NEVER stay at the hotels, we find a campsite nearby there are plenty of state parks all over ohio and we've also camped at nationals! For instance the most expensive campsite we've stayed at are KOA's at about 35.00 per nite, ..most state parks are 25...compare that to a hotel! At nationals in columbus, we stayed at Cross Creek Camping resort, it's by alum creek state park (this is also less than a mile from GAPPS) there were plenty of softball players there, made new friends. Our team stayed at a hotel for 110.00 per nite, we spent 240 for the week! We can make our own food, we can relax and we don't break the bank. Other ohio tourney's

Toledo tournaments, KOA in toledo near the holodome where our teams always stay or maumee bay sp

Youngstown tourneys...mosquito lake state park, always softball players there

Columbus, alum creek sp or cross creek both in delaware or if tourney south side can stay at buckeye lake

TD's really ought to provide more info on camping. you usually cant go wrong with a state park and never go wrong with KOA's cause the bathrooms are clean.

OK - how much for the RV or the truck and camper for a family of 5?

Well per normal you can count on 1 from me this year again Rich.
Camping at the park or close is the only way to go. As does Greenville, West Liberty Lions Park allows campers to stay at the park. We had about 25 last year and it really neat to see all of them interact together.

Danger12U & fourtwoone we have always allowed campers at Stebbins Field in Greenville. Every year a few more show up and this year we even have a poll started about how many will show up. Its kind of old school and I like it.
