Tanel VS. Ringer

My daughter's feet have finally quit growing. I now have no problem spending the extra money for good shoes.

Do I want to look more at Tanels or Ringers? Do the sizes run comparably to Nike? Does anyone know a good source for good deals on these shoes?

Have you had problems with the Nike's? Is she a pitcher? This info would probably help others give you some recommendations on which one would be better to look at.

My DD has worn Nike's all 4 years she has played with not one complaint. Don't understand paying over twice the amount for Ringers' even if you can get 2 years out of them. Would rather start the new year with a new pair of shoes then last years used ones.

If your dd pitches then go with the ringors, I broke down last winter and bought my dd a pair. They are great, they still look like they have hardly been worn and she wore them all winter, spring and summer. I will easily get another whole year out of them. We were buying 2-3 pair of others a year.

If she is a runner go with the Tanels, they weigh less.

Bought two pairs of Tanel's for older daughters this year. My older stronger daughter LOVED them, and my younger daugher hated them. My older daughter{aka=the Steam Shovel) did NOT wear through the toe/toe seam area this year. First time a pair of shoes lasted her the whole season. Younger daughter thought they weighed too much, but I didn't notice any real differnce holding them. The Tanel's did impress me for pitcher's. Big 'un also has a pair of Nike steel for playing the outfield. I will also say I did put a layer of Tuff Toe around the seams on the Tanel's.

Update: Pitcher; yes. Runner; we're working on it.......

Toe drag shreds ordinary shoes in no time.

Several RINGOR? baseball and softball cleats and spikes have received the prestigious Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). This marks the first time that any baseball or softball footwear has received the Seal of Acceptance.

For comfort and longevity you can't beat Ringor. It has been our experience that Ringors run small by about 1 size. If your dd wears a size 8 gym shoe, I would order a size 9 Ringor. Also, you can buy additional insoles for $5/pair.

Since she is a pitcher I would go with the Ringers. More durable for the toe drag.

DD hasnt killed her tanels out yet, and she drags hard. Both DDs wear them and they both love the feel when they twist in the batters box. They love that 360 design on the toe, and the weight.

My DD likes her Tanels,
She still runs like a mule but; she said they do feel lighter and seem to grip better than other cleats.
She also pitches occasionally and they have held up better thn her Nike Sharks.

We bought the Tanel 360's for our whole team this year and they loved them. We did not have 1 complaint or problem.

My DD pitches with serious toe drag and Ringors have lasted two seasons. She now has the new Ringor diamond gems and they are as light as Tanels. My DD also uses the Ringor turf shoes with protec toe for pitching lessons on turf and a power line mat -- they are great also. The Ringor cleat pattern allows the rotational movement like the Tanel 360s too.

I agree with the assessment on the Ringor Diamond Gems. My daughter also has some serious toe drag when pitching, and went through 3 pairs of cleats the previous season before switching to the Ringors this year.

Can't go wrong with Ringors for a pitcher. Same as everyone else, we went through 3 or 4 pairs of Nike's last year - this year 1 pair of Diamond Gems and they could probably make it through 2 more seasons if her foot didn't grow.

My DD even shreds gym shoes indoors from pitching so we'll likely be buying a pair for inside now as well.

DD loved the older Mizuno, she wears the metal Mizuno for H.S, for travel she uses the Tanel, they're ok, but durable. Nike, she has had 3 pair and not a single pair has ever made it 3 full games, the toe rips right out.

My DD just got her Tanel 360's a couple weeks ago. Thought I would try them out since I've heard nothing but great things about them. She has gone thru 2 pairs of Ringors (Because of growing, not wear). She loved the Ringors, but at $105.00 a pop, I thought we would try the Tanels for $75.00(High top with pitchers toe). She has worn them for 2 weeks now and has loved them ever since she put them on her feet. She says they are very comfortable and weigh less than the Ringors. I don't know how they will last but she usually outgrows them before we get to that point.
If you are looking for a quality shoe for a little less money than the Ringor, I strongly suggest trying the Tanels. I'm just posting this to compare both shoes since when I was looking I couldn't find anybody who has tried both.
