TC/USA Softball Polls/ Where is your team ranked?

Some of you may or may not know of the new Triple Crown/USA Softball Polls. Dave King (CEO Triple Crown Sports) has invested many hours in to this poll. Like all polls it isn't perfect, however our goal is to recognize and rank the top amateur Club Softball Programs throughout the Country. Below is the link to the current poll. Just a quick scan and I didn't see a (OH) team listed in the Top 100.

Looked like only one (OH) team received votes ( Elyria Sundogs ) Congrats to them as well !

hard to say much as there are not that many mid west teams to compare ohio org's too..... I do see the Louisville Lady Sluggers at # 56 ---and IMO there is no way they are any better than the Lasers Org from Ohio. They play similiar tournies, but the lasers have a much bigger org, with just as long a history . I'm sure due to the higher number of teams the lasers have they place more girls in college than the sluggers (not that the ones the sluggers send to D-1 are not great players) .... so I'd view the poll as a decent starting place but there sure are some good ohio org's with long histories of getting girls rides and competing nationally that deserve mention ( or put an asterisk on the Bandits for "special recognition to ohio ---lol) MD

You're right, it isn't perfect and you must understand the poll is in the infancy stages. Make sure you check out how the teams received their rankings. I'm sure that will give you more of an idea of how one team was ranked above the other. Thanks for the input! By the way, I have repaired the link above.

Interesting if you go to their site Miami Valley Express is ranked 4th in college player index and Lasers Scarlet is ranked at 16U.

Lasers Scarlet #10 at 16-u and #191 at 18-u.
