We have merged the Steel City Cyclones and Team Pennsylvania to form the Team PA Cyclones, we have been two of the top organizations out of western pa over the past several years. Our 18's have been one of the most succesful teams n the tri state area at placing players into college and receiving scholarships, as that amount is over $2,000,000 in the past 8 years or so. We wanted to clarify and update everyone on some news with teams.
- We are glad to announce officially that Former Women's Professional softball player and Former Pitt Assistant Coach Jen Chamberlain will be our showcase team head coach. Many of you know Jen as one of the top hitting instructors in Western PA, and brings a love of the game, and a vast knowledge of what it takes to be a Division I softball player, and we are excited to have her joining or organization.
- After the large turn out from last week, we will have a 16U team, team manager to named shortly, so please stay tuned. We feel the quality of the product will still be high, without compromising what we hope year in and year out to be a high quality product.
- Also, the 18U Elite/Showcase/and 16U tryouts will be this Saturday August 10th on the campus of Robert Morris University. Signs ups will begin at 9:30 AM, Stretching will begin at 10:00 AM and the actual tryout will begin at 10:30 AM.
- There is a $20.00 tryout fee, however if you participated in the first tryout and paid that amount, you obviously won't be charged the second tryout.

For such a small organization compared to others in the area, our success have been unmatched since coming to the 18U level. Approximately 4/5 years ago.
Tryout information to note/remember when coming Saturday.
- Please print out application and fill it out completely and bring it stapled to tryouts, IT CAN BE FOUND UNDER HANDOUTS SECTION ON WEBSITE AT LINK BELOW, along with waiver which you can find under the handouts section.
- ALL PLAYERS SHOULD BRING A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATES
- ALL PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR PANTS FOR TRYOUTS, AND A JERSEY WITH YOUR LAST NAME ON IT IF YOU HAVE ONE
- ALL PLAYERS SHOULD ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME TO GET Loose
- PLAYERS SHOULD BRING BEVERAGES TO STAY HYDRATED
- TRYOUTS WILL BE BASED ON NUMEROUS FACTORS, NEED, ABILITY, HUSTLE, ATTITUDE, EFFORT, COACH ABILITY, RUNNING SPEED, ETC...

Come see why we have been the most successful teams over the past several years at getting our players college scholarships and placing them in very competitive programs, together the two teams that will come together from the Former Steel City Cyclones and Team PA will have earned over $2,000,000.00 in scholarship moneys in a relatively short time.
Our goal is too field three teams, 2 at the 18U level, and one at the 16U level, The first team of elite/committed players that are looking to buck the trend in Western PA and play a competitive schedule to prepare for playing college softball at the next level.
We will also be fielding a true college showcase team that will be coached by a former Division I Coach, that we fill will be able to get into some of the toughest and most sought after tournaments. The team will be returning to the outstanding Pennsbury showcase, Team NJ, Stingrays and several others, as well as doing several PGF qualifiers. Their schedule will be based on the schools of the players that are selected are targeting. We will work hand in hand with college coaches to make sure we are heading in the direction that keeps us on top in Western PA and the tri-state area. We have also decided to field a 16U team that will also attend several top tournaments, and be a strong feeder program for us for years to come.
