We have merged the Steel City Cyclones and Team Pennsylvania to form the Team PA Cyclones, we have been two of the top organizations out of western pa over the past several years. Our 18's have been one of the most succesful teams n the tri state area at placing players into college and receiving scholarships, as that amount is over $2,000,000 in the past 8 years or so. TEAM PA CYCLONES 14U TRYOUT INFORMATION

PLEASE SEE ABOVE FOR OTHER TRYOUT DETAILS.
We are excited to announce that we will have our try outs on August 3rd at the Ruffsdale Elementary school, (August 4th will be the rain date for this one) and August 10th at either the Ruffsdale Elementary school, or if we can get the paper work completed in time the Field at Robert Morris University in Moon, PA. We will keep you posted on the RMU location. Please check back on the August 10th date and place.
On the Try out for August 3rd, (Rain Date August 4th) We will begin warm ups/paper work from 12:00 till 1:00 PM, and the try out will run from 1:00 till 4:00 PM. Players should be prepared to fill out try out application also, and we will also get it posted to our website soon for easier access.
The cost to try out will be $20.00 per player. Players only need to attend one try out, but its highly encouraged that a player if truly interested in making the squad attend both tryouts to give the staff time to full evaluate them. We will also be inviting college coaches to attend to give them a look at what we believe will be a solid turn out of some outstanding talent.
Last year Coach Morrison fielded one of the most successful teams in Western PA at any age group, his team was league age 12U as they competed in several 14U tournaments.
Over the past year this team finished with an amazing record of 96-9-1 with 1 tournament to go so they will surely eclipse 100 wins over that span.

Come see why we have been the most successful teams over the past several years at getting our players college scholarships and placing them in very competitive programs, together the two teams that will come together from the Former Steel City Cyclones and Team PA will have earned over $2,000,000.00 in scholarship moneys in a relatively short time. Our goal is too field two teams at the 18U level, The first team of committed/signed players that are looking to buck the trend in Western PA and play a competitive schedule to prepare for playing college softball at the next level. Its our belief most players once they commit want to take off/coast/relax before heading into their fall season. We want the girls to be ready when they step on campus to be ready to compete and contribute there. As we believe the truly hard work is ahead of them and that is playing and being successful at the college level. We will also be fielding a true college showcase team that we fill will be able to get into some of the toughest and most sought after tournaments. The team will be returning to the outstanding Pennsbury showcase, Stingrays and several others, as well as doing several PGF qualifiers. Their schedule will be based on the schools of the players that are selected are targeting. We will work hand in hand with college coaches to make sure we are heading in the direction that keeps us on top in Western PA and the tri-state area.
