Old-timer are you getting senile in your old age or is Amanda ********** really going to DeSales? Being a Stallion I have not heard of ?this news. It would be great for the DeSales program to get a pitcher of Mandy's talent and potential. Where did you hear this news?

Not that it matters but the scores where with in 8 runs.

Fastpitch11- if it doesn?t matter why are you making such a big deal out of this. I think that you are the one that needs to grow up. The books are the official record that is ok?d by each team as well as the umpire. Just because the scoreboard operator neglected to put up the final run does not make I-71 wrong. Before you open your mouth and tell someone they are wrong you should get the facts.
It sound to me that you are a little bitter. Did your daughter lose to the Nightmare? That is probably behind your pettiness. Just let the girls play ball. Even if you were right (which the books clearly show you were not) and it doesn?t matter as you say, what did you hope to accomplish by calling someone out for being one run off?

I think the nightmare and the Slammers should have thier own web sight, they are by far the two best teams in the history of fastpitch, just ask there parents.
It gets old hearing these two teams beat there chest.
Slammers are a good team playing in good tournaments, Nightmare go play someone, you play in weak tournaments week in and week out.
Maybe you 2 teams will get some respect when you learn to keep your mouths shut and just play ball.

I've read all of your posts, and you should change your name to the Nightmare basher.

So instead of talking down the Nightmare and the parents, quit hiding behind your fake screen name - I know for a fact you are not affiliated with the Lasers, and if you were, you wouldn't be for long. The Laser nation does not condone such acts.

IMHO, you are probably a former Nightmare player or parent, upset that you are no longer with a team that is having success this year

Laser1 I would hope you are not from the Laser organization. They have to much class, would someone from the Lasers stop this guy from insulting your Great organization. You have insulted the Lady Irish,Valley Sting, the Stingrays, OhioIce Richards, the Ohio Pride, Laser Orange and the Indiana Shockwave who the Nightmare has beaten in there so called weak tournaments. Those team are well coached and on any given day could beat anyone. Tell all the 16U teams the Nightmare have played that they can't play. Let's start with Classics Black,Buckeye Heat Mays, Buckeye Heat Giannes, Laser Green and so on. You need to Quit posting on this positive website. Quit hiding behind a screen name, people know who you are.?

Nightmare Good job on your long road to victory.
Now the imporant stuff, how about the grounds crew watering raking and lining each field after each game. A very nice job all weekend.
Also how about the build your own walking taco with all the fixings.
This is the fourth year in a row I've been to this complex for various age groups and they always do a fine job. Keep up the good work.

We are home preparing our house for a DOOM get together this weekend and just saw the latest posts calling our family out. ?We have been following the Nightmare this year and are very happy for these girls who my husband has helped coach for many years. ?These girls have worked very hard and deserved every win they have. ?We were with them from the start as Grove City Pups, Lil? Hounds and then Nightmare. ?They have come a long way in the last 6 years. ?It was time for us to part ways and are extremely happy with the move to the DOOM, although we still miss the players on the Nightmare. ?It was a large part of our daughter?s life. ?I don?t understand where all of this animosity is stemming from unless stories are being fabricated about us. ?Anyone who really knows us, knows we don?t operate like we are being projected. ?It?s too bad we will be unable to play the Nightmare this weekend at the Stingray tournament but the Nightmare was shut out of the 14U a long time ago. ?I?m assuming a 16U slot opened up and they were able to enter at the 16 level. ?Good Luck this weekend. ?Maybe we will see you in Illinois. ?Congratulations on both of your state titles. ?What an amazing feat! ?I would like to add that the DOOM is also the real deal. ?They are a great bunch of players, coaches and parents. ?Thanks for letting us join your team!!!

I would really hope that you are not referring to Lisa,Jack or Kelly, these are great people that always speak very highly of the nightmare. I don't think anybody from my team or organization would belittle another team. So lets keep the Doom out of this fight, we will stick to just playing softball and staying out of the I.M. wars.

First off I have have never read a thread with so many "Trial Members" posting...LMAO. Talk about hiding behind screen names.

Speaking of "Trial Members" Laser1, why are you even posting in the first place? Your team shut out the Nightmare (4-0,8-0) twice. So be happy with your success and move on!

I-71, WmKnight and fs101. Your combined 25 post shows that you are either young travelball parents, not use to the proper OFC etiquett or these are your alias names and that would be a shame. Either way it doesn't look very mature to bring 3rd party teams into the equation.

Also what is the deal between Fastpitch11 and Stallions2 arguing over 1 run? I hope this is not 2 different coaches, from 2 different teams, that were at 2 different tournaments. This would be most unusual, but I will continue to investigate this connection...lol.

You are way out of line speaking to what is proper with what I post - it is an open forum and I am within the rules and regulations of this forum - period. ?

I did not bring in a third party, I just STRUCK A NERVE by stating IMHO - a former player or parent of former player who didn't get the playing time, was not in the position they wanted, or didn't get to pitch enough - hey, I guess I do know travel softball.

As to you zuefle, I did not even mention a name of person, or team name - I don't know you, so you come out of the woodwork to defend yourself - read in to it what you deem worthy.

Look at the posts, no one mentioned the family by name, no one mentioned the team by name, and people go crazy with Public Relations 101 trying to win the court of public opinion - again first rules of engagement in trying to justify a guilty party.

The person also goes out of his way to discuss his love and admiration for the team and players, and in the same breath leaves it open for the dissatisfaction of the organization or staff and gives the last slam by "oh by the way Nightmare was shut out of the tournamment a long time ago" - what slam was that on "so much love and this and that" for a team.

I am well educated and entrenced in many business areas in the state, and I know negotiations to a tee - and something smells very rotten with how this evolved systematically to move from a posititve post to let's make it personal.

Again, leave me out - I did not signal out a team or person - they did this on their own. ?As for hiding, if you want to meet, I will, and you will see why I have no reason to hide!

I think my posts have been appropriate and I apologize if I offended anyone on any posts.They are not intended to hurt anyone. I am a fan of girls fast pitch softball and I have coached this sport and other sports (paid and volunteer positions) for about 33 years. I also have been an athlete from grade school through college. I have respect for parents and athletes and all officials and all those who help make sports fun.
Again I'm sorry if I hurt anyone and I think this is a very good site that needs to stay no matter what the costs might be.
