Is there any news on the teams that are playing in this and when the schedules will be out.?

Haven't seen anything on the teams, but I saw an email where they extended the entry deadline until Tuesday. 6/3. Here's a link to some info on the tournament, but not a lot.

When will we learn. Another poor showing for Softball World Tourney. No communication. dont know what teams are listed. no schedule...no follow up. This in addition to the bad fields adn High admission and no cooler policy. Remember to avoid this Tourney..even if they are moving to North Ridgeville. What a joke

Purple, we learned our lesson back in 2003 when one of our sister teams had a player break her leg sliding on a field of concrete. :-[

A few of my favorite features at Softball World (it's been a few years)

The smell of stale beer in the dugouts.

Bees swarming around the trash cans.

The sign on the outfield fence for the Crazy Horse Saloon stating "Free admission if you wear your uniform" (Hope no families tried it)

Fields crowned so high that bunts cannot stay fair.

Balls landing in the outfield gopher holes are out of play if the outfielder cannot reach into the hole and find it.

sgf67, I'm not sure how you seen the Crazy Horse signs through the dust storms that occur every few minutes.

You forgot the fact that the outfield is about 2 feet lower than the infield. As you look through the infield you can see the outfielders from the knees up.

Just heard this tourney was cancelled for 16u. Not sure about others........ >

They Just cancelled for 12u-
Cant believe he waited till Wednesday at 4pm to tell us. Now we are scrambling to find another tourney.

Tournament was cancelled for all age groups but 14u. Our 16u team is also scrambling. I don't understand why they didn't ask 12u to play up at 14u and 16u at 18u as an option. Feel bad for all teams involved.

12u and 14u only. Must say, this has been the best condition I've seen these fields. Just don't make any over throws. Wadsworth won pool A going 3-0 and Shockwave won Pool B 3-0 to reach championship game where Wadsworth prevailed. Did not care for format, with no elimination games, or playing championship game at end of day. Not sure who won 12u.
