I would like to thank Warren and the organization for affording me the opportunity to be part of this fine organization. I have watched the tireless effort he puts forth for the girls and it is truly exciting to be part of it! Our 13u program will be playing a highly competitive summer schedule and will also participate in some fall and winter events. We will have access to a winter hit barn and indoor practice facilities when available. Anyone wishing for a private workout can contact me, Bill Kenneally at 330-501-5917

Outlaws 16u Crandall will be based, but not limited to the Medina, Wayne, Summit and western Cuyahoga county areas. If you are unable to make the August 8th or 11th dates, please email tcrandallt@gmail.com to arrange a private tryout. The team will be playing a Showcase heavy schedule, primarily in Ohio, with the option of traveling out of state as well.

There are some very good coaches listed here. Schmeiser has a passion for the game and knows how to succeed. Blashinsky and Stevenson are class acts in addition to being quality coaches. I've worked with and shared philosophies with Turner and he gets it. His players and their development come first and he takes accountability in that. Vukovich did a nice job with his team this past summer and I've heard nothing but good things about the coaches coming in. There is a lot to check out here.

Sam, thanks so much for the kind words. Your hard work and dedication to the Outlaws - Petrash is really what got the ball rolling for this organization.

The 10 u team will be looking to find girls with athleticism and a desire to work hard. We will focus from day 1 on developing speed/agility, and strong fundamentals. We are also committed to developing a positive mindset and an environment where girls come to work hard without a fear of failure. Long-term of course (i.e. 14 u and above), we would like to see THIS team produce players prepared to follow the Outlaws precedent of playing the top competition in the US. We will progress that direction slowly as our players/parents become ready.

If anyone would like to learn more about this opportunity, please PM me (Tom Schmeiser) or Warren Wolff, or contact me at tjsmize@gmail.com. Please also plan on attending our tryouts on Tues or Sat as posted on this thread. It will truly be my privilege to step in this year with the Outlaws 10 u ... looking forward to getting this started!

Hi everyone I just wanted to let everyone know a little about the 14U Premier team I will be coaching. This is a new team so I am filling all positions and as Warren has mentioned we will play the top tournaments in Ohio. This team will have girls from ALL OVER Ohio and I am centrally located in Marysville, OH for practices. I have had a lot of interest for this team and have been setting up private tryouts. Thank you to everyone that is contacted me and is working with me on tryout times and locations. With that said I am having a tryout in Marysville tomorrow at noon and at 5pm at Schwartzkpof Park off Maple St. This was just set up with some of girls that have shown interest so I thought I would open it up to anyone interested. PLEASE EMAIL OR TEXT me in advance so I have an idea who is coming or if you have any questions.

A little background about me as Warren mentioned I played softball and basketball at Malone University in Canton, OH. I then walked on at Ohio State my junior year as a catcher. I have also been an assistant varsity coach at Dublin Scioto HS and Dublin Coffman HS coaching with Joe Abraham current Hillsdale Coach. I took some time off and then coached my daughter on a Buckeye Heat team for two years and was also an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan University for one season. I am really excited to have this opportunity to coach again with a great organization that I have only heard positive things about. I want to let everyone know I am very clear of my expectations of the girls and the parents and I know what is expected of these girls at the next level and I am ready to prepare them for that. I understand we are preparing the kids for HS and college but I also think it is importante to remember they are kids and if they aren't having fun then there is no point in playing. I LOVE softball and I want to pass that on to as many girls as possible. It has opened a lot of doors for me even in my adult life. Thanks again to everyone contacting me and be patient as I return calls and emails.

Tom - I know this is a tryout thread and my intent is to promote the quality coaches that have come on board to dedicate themselves to the players. Thanks for the props but I have to place credit to guys like Mike Bowen, Jon Stevens, and Scott Aldredge for getting the ball rolling on this. Then there are people like Travis Strebel, Patti Wennerberg, and you who made tremendous contributions to our team over the last two/three years. And finally, the players and parents that came on board and bought into the program. Blashinsky has taken it all to a new level and is opening more doors. Then there is more talent following that team. The sky is the limit for you guys. Good luck!!! Sam

Hi. Would you mind confirming that the August 8th date includes 10 U and 12 U? One post indicates it is 16U and 18 U and another indicates it is 10 U and 12U.
Thanks!

The Outlaws 12u Black will have tryouts on the 6th from 6-830 and the 10th from 1130-2. They will take place at the previously posted aurora addresses. Please note the change in location for the 6th that warren posted. Both dates are in aurora, Ohio. We are based in northeast Ohio. Our current staff consists of myself, Sarah Ingalls( D1-Horizon league-YSU softball- senior), starter for her first 3 seasons, and Vicky Rumph will also be assisting when available. Vicky is a 4 year starter from D1 Youngstown State and has garnered many accolades while catching for the penguins in the horizon league, culminating with being named to the Canadian National team 2013. I am very excited as to what these two players will bring to our team from both a experience and knowledge standpoint. We look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts!!

Tracy Crandall will be coaching the 16U team. She played for Hoban High school and was a part of their 83 and 84 state championship teams. She continued her softball career at the University of Akron as a 4 year letterman. She was most valuable player in 88 and offensive player of the year in 87. Her assistant coach, Natalie Mariano is currently a Junior at The University Of Dayton where she is a starter on their softball team. She brings some of the most up to date player skills taught by the University. As a Freshman she was on the all rookie team and as a Sophomore she was defensive player of the year.
This is their 3rd season coaching together and are looking forward to bringing their enthusiasm and knowledge to the Outlaws Organization.
