The University of Rio Grande RedStorm softball program will be offering a one-day clinic for all ages, June 7 at the Stanley Evans Softball Field.
The cost is $30 per session, $50 for two sessions, $75 for three sessions or $100 for all four sessions.
Session 1 covers pitching drills and fundamentals from 9-10:30 a.m.
Session 2 deals with catching drills and fundamentals from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Session 3 will focus on offensive drills and mechanics from 1-2:30 p.m.
Session 4 is proper fielding technique and position footwork from 3-4:30 p.m.
Pitchers must bring their own balls and provide their own catcher. Catchers must supply their own protective equipment. Players attending a hitting session must bring their own bat and helmet and players attending a fielding session must bring their own glove. Participants are encouraged to label all their equipment.
Water will provided while lunch will not be provided.
All camps will be instructed by head coach Dawnjene DeLong and the Rio Grande softball team.
