I've had many scorekeepers over the years but my all time favorite that kept me informed at every twist and turn.... OFC's very own - DeepBlue. ? The best I have seen by far and probably the best around.

A good scorekeeper is a coaches right hand person, advisor, confidant and moral leader. ?Hats off to the unsung heros of the game.

I agree Johnnies, without them headcoaches would be lost 3/4 of the time. A good score keeper is hard to find and if you do find one you better take care of them.

I agree, but don't forget the folks who keep the pitching charts either. They do a valuble service and they are often forgot.

scorekeeping is a great way to learn the game. My DD and some of her teammates have taken up the "art" of statkeeping as well. For me, it also keeps my mouth shut from saying something stupid to the refs or trying to give advice. I cheer, I remind whose up, I give signals to the infielders about potential groundballs, things like that. I've done this for years growing up as a kid, I always thought it was better than being a batboy..
