Thunder Elite 04 - Team Bio​

Thunder Elite 04 is a fastpitch softball team based out of NE Ohio. We currently have girls on our team from Trumbull, Mahoning, Ashtabula, Wayne and Mercer (PA) Counties.

We battled a very competitive overall schedule throughout our 2015 season yet have been consistently ranked in the Top 10 in the OFC Coaches Poll. Win or lose, we believe these girls should play the best if they want to be the best. We focus on fundamentals, aggressiveness, camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Our 10u season concluded with 3 tournament championships, 2 runner-ups and a Final 4 appearance at the Stingrays Showcase.

As we look toward our next adventure where the pitchers throw from 40 feet and the ball is bigger, we absolutely anticipate playing a competitive schedule because that is what the girls deserve. As an 11u team, we look forward to applying for Laser Nation and the Stingrays Showcase amongst others.

Tentative Fall/Winter Plans
- 2 Fall Tournaments
- Thunder Elite Fall League (Sunday Double headers)
- Spano Dome practices approximately 1-2 times monthly beginning in November
- Spano Dome Tournament

We will have 2 tryouts for our specific team.

August 13, 6pm in Akron/Canton area (field to be determined)
August 15, 10am in Youngstown (Liberty Township Park)

Thunder Elite 04 concluded their season on a high note going 3-1 in the 12u division at the 'Twas the Night Before XMas Tournament in North Ridgeville. We are now in tryout mode. Returning a very talented group of kids, we have aspirations of being one of the top 11u teams in the state! Please give me a call, text or email with any questions.
