Anybody have scores from last weekends games? Who looked good in the 14u group? Schedules for this weekend out yet?

we only had a couple of scores reported. Though I didnt see many blowouts.

D,You are running the league. how can you not know the scores?

we have asked winning (and losing coaches) to report the scores. If neither side is interested in doing so...

personally, with my teams (16u and 18u), I am more concerned over the individual performance and team development than the score of a particular game. I believe that there is plenty of time to worry about the win/loss record when we hit the tournament season.

my day there is spent making sure that things are relatively on schedule, as well as watch my hitting and fielding students - seeing how they are using what we cover in their lessons, and I am training 5 new young umpires - college players that want to give something back. makes for a busy day.

Dont you keep league standings? At the hhh dome they record each score for standings then have a postseason tourney using the standings for seedings.

we also have a league 3gg tourny at the end of the season. ?

past comments from our teams indicate that they arent concerned with a league standing. ?the reported scores are more for what we send into the papers. I will, however, poll the coaches to see if it still holds. ?We have always used a blind draw for the tourny. ?It is interesting to note that the teams do take the league tourny much more seriously that the league games themselves.
