Indoor Tournament Thunderplex Winter League

The Winter League will begin the first weekend of November and finish the last weekend of January. We break the 3rd weekend of December for a Holiday Tournament - then will be off the last 2 weekends of December due to Christmas and New Years.

The league consists of 7 double headers - 80 minute games with 2 umpires. We will be playing 9 on 9 on 3 dirt fields.
All teams are entered in the league 3 game minimum tournament the last 2 weekends of January. Age groups are: 10u, 12u, 14u, combined 16u/18u and a separate High School division. High School and 16u/18u play on Sunday - the others on Saturday, unless there are some 14s that need to play on Sunday. I try to accomodate time and date constraints. We charge $895 for the league - had to increase by $100 to cover the 2nd umpire.

Last year we had 32 teams. By adding our new 3rd field - we can increase to 48 teams. We are also allowing teams to enter for a partial season, since some teams can only play on a couple of weeks. This is new for this year and we'll see how it works before making it permanent for future years.

We have also announced our February tournament dates - early so that Gallighers, Spano and we dont all run them at the same time. For us: 16u - Feb 4-5, 18u - Feb 11-12, 10u/12u - Feb 18-19 and 14u - Feb 25-26

What schools have entered or expressed interest so far?

Dave do you know if there is any 12u teams that might need a player. My DD pitches, and plays where ever needed. She is commited to a team for next year, but they don't play any winter ball. Any help to get her to play during the winter would be great. Thanks!

i have a few girls looking for a team 2 pitchers (also short stop and first)but can play any where i also have an out fielder all looking for the same team as close to east palestine as possible
