I would like to say how much we enjoyed this tournament and how honored we are to be Co-Champs of the 14U Division with the Lasers White. Both teams fought hard all weekend and the Championship game was no exception. WOW what a nailbiter, and due to running out of light, we ended the game in a tie. I am very proud of all the girls and how they never gave up. These ladies fought hard and left it on the field. I am very proud to say great job to both teams and Good luck with the rest of your season to the Lasers White. We wish you nothing but the best as we know they will do well.

Great week end.We enjoyed it. A lot of great games and a great finale with the Sharks. Both teams made great comebacks. It was a tough way to end but neither of us wanted to risk injury due to darkness. I know the girls from both teams wanted to finish the game but they both battled hard. Good luck Sharks.

Ran out of light? ?How does that happen with 4 lighted fields at Genshaft? ?T-town still paying the bill for running the lights all night back on May 10-11 ??

14U Bracket paly was at Community Park(no lights). I mentioned the possibility of darkness well before the other semi was finished but they were convinced it was okay because they played until 9:15 on Saturday night. I tried to explain to them that were were not going to get the 5:30 scheduled champioship game started until after 8pm but the still said it was okay. Neither team wanted to pack up at 9:30 and go to Genshaft and unpack and get loose to play again, the risk of injury was in both coaches minds. It was a good tournament and both teams played hard. Neither of us wanted the bid to the Eastern National so it seemed like the best thing was to be Co-Champs and filp a coin for the trophies. (Not sure about everyone else but the trophy is not the reason we do this)
