DD told me they seperated the juniors/seniors from freshman/sophomores. She told me everyone was really nervous. DD told me she got stuck with the worst girl possible. She had her grounder practice and leaping all in one session. ;&

To all the girls that are trying out for HS softball good luck to you i hope you make the team and position you like, if not its up to you to work hard and do the extras to earn the spot you so want .To all the girls who have prepared themselfs for try outs it should be a breeze, for the ones who havent please dont be upset if the girl you didnt think was better is now because she worked her but off . Also try not to be nervous be confident and hustle.

DD reported no surprise attendees on the first day. Everyone who showed had been there for winter ball at CSU and for open gyms. Coaches make the girls mingle when working stations, at least 2 freshmen in each group and at least 1 of each remaining grade level. . . cool idea for building true team work.
