The Frostburg State softball team saved perhaps its best win of the season for the last day of its season, as the Bobcats entered the second day of the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Softball Tournament facing elimination at top-seed and No. 8 ranked Christopher Newport. The Bobcats used spectacular performances from their three seniors to keep the season alive. Softball's postseason victory over CNU checks in as the No. 6 most exciting moment of the 2017-18 year.
