Oh you know I would have to byte on this subject-lol. I love promoting the game of Fastpitch and what better way then to mention teams for their positive contributions!!! The Central Ohio Stingrays 13U (Toler), Buckeye Heat 14U (Clark) and 13U (Kelley), Ohio Classics and Teays Valley 13U (Taylor) are some of the better teams in our area. The Grove City Nightmare 13U (Aburazzia-sorry John and Joe on the spelling-lol) are making solid strides every year! At the 12U level the Stingrays (Seeds) are solid as usual. Anyway, would love to hear from the real experts though.

In Central Ohio the Heart of Ohio organization would have to be mentioned. Very large organization with a lot of quality teams and a very "family oriented" approach to travel ball - meaning they involve the whole family - not just the players.
Any mention of top organizations must also mention the ubiquitous Lady Lasers - they are in Central Ohio, NE Ohio, NW Ohio, SW Ohio, SE Ohio, etc. LOL

If you are defining (best) as wins the most games etc. You need little help. Look back at the tournament postings for this past summer, see who the final four are at each age group. Year in year out, that will be a decent predictor of who will be there next year. There will of course be exceptions. If you are defining best in another fashion, then it will help to know what you are looking for in a team.

I stand corrected, they just might be the strongest 14U team in Central Ohio in 2006. BTW, I met your new catcher from down south this past weekend, she's a ballplayer! Goodluck in 2006 and maybe we'll see each other at the Classics tourney?

I have no insight on either team as to how tryouts went for them? But it's safe to say that they both will be 2 of the stronger clubs at 14U in Ohio this year. Hopefully we will see them both at the Classics Tourney in Pickerington Ocy 1st and 2nd! 8).

The Lasers Purple will be the team to beat at 14U. Tryouts went very well for Stingrays14U. They should be strong in 2006.

She is a great ball player and has a good personality!
