Dear Coaches,

1. Please post what area you are from when posting your try-outs and/or post on the map.

2. Please let us know which age groups.

3. Please stop having every tryout on August 11th.

5. Contact information for someone to try and set up another date if they can't make it when scheduled.

11: What type team / schedule your team is looking to play? (more addressed to the lesser known Org's...)
12: Appropriate dress (some Org's don't want players to wear past or current team uniforms etc - they are trying out as 'Girl #47' so no bias)

Is it me or should there only be 1 thread per organization? Each age group does not need their own thread.

13. Provide the crystal ball (or magic 8-ball) that shows what the team roster, parent attitudes and coaches competency will look like 10 months after I commit my DD to your organization.

14. Do an honest assessment of the kids that show up; if a new kid is better than the old one, but the old one happens to be your daughter or your daughter's best friend...
15. Be honest with what you need to add--if you have an "open" tryout when 11 of your 12 are coming back, and all you need is a catcher, don't waste any kids and parents time if the kids play outfield, or pitch, etc.....

I too am having trouble know which try-out to attend as most of them are on 8/11. It would be helpful to know what positions of need each team are in search of so that players can go to the correct try-out. I understand that each team wants the best players they can get, but I also do not want to waste my DD's time trying out for a team that she was not going to make in the first place because they already had 3 pitchers.
