Just a few notable pointers to all in looking for your next team:

#1 . If a team is claiming to have success getting players to the next level, then they should have no problem providing names and colleges.

#2. Have a winning record at whatever level they are choosing to play. Going 25-50 in nothing but small local tourneys, does not bode well if they try to increase tournament size. USSSA and other websites make it easy to evaluate teams.

#3. proven track record with a larger organization is solid place to start. BUT some small orgs have had success as well.

#4. word of mouth from other parents, watching games at tourneys, etc, will also provide valuable information as to coaches style, parents, etc. of perspective teams. Don't just blindly believe any one person.

#5 . No team that says they are seeking the final piece of a #1 pitcher is really just missing that single player.

good luck to all.
