Since you didn't seem to like the advice offered in the other thread you posted, here's the reality of your situation. Tryouts are at the end of July/beginning of August. Offers are made at that time and players accept those offers to play for the team at that time which means teams are full for the most part. At this time of the year. whatever additional players the teams needed have been found between the Fall Tournament season, Winter and now. All of the non-viable teams have combined with each other to form a full team. You have 2 choices. 1) Sub, which will allow you to pick what seems to be the best option come the next tryout time. or 2) look on the "Teams Needing Players or Sub Master tryout list" to see if there are any teams that are looking for a permanent player and start calling. Also post on the "Players Need Team or Available to Sub Master list," and wait for a call. There's nothing else you can do. For 10U, the Spring/Summer season has already started. If there happened to be a team out there still looking for a player, you'll be lucky to find them. If there's a 10U team out there looking to fill more than one spot at this time of year, run the other way. But hey, what do I know? I just started my 19th year of coaching SB, 16 of which have been in TB world.

People, do yourself a favor and follow this advice. The only other thing you could try is attend a tournament or 2 and watch some teams play. You could approach the staff between games and ask some questions but don't get your hopes up. Things are probably not going to happen until tryouts but you may get some contact info on those teams so you can attend.

Sorry, there are some realities here you simply have to accept.
