Tryout Prep Clinic-Part II. Do not send your daughter into tryouts unprepared!!!!

Due to the turnout & the overwhelming demand for a second clinic, Field of Dreams will be offering ANOTHER Tryout Preparation Clinic next Friday, Aug 8, 2014 at 6:00 PM. The clinic will last approximately 90 minutes. Last week's clinic went about 20 minutes long, and you can probably expect that as well next week. This clinic is being led by Field of Dreams instructors and will help the students understand and hone the things that we travel ball coaches are looking for in a player at tryouts. You wouldn't go to a job interview without being fully prepare...don't send your daughter into tryouts without making sure she is properly prepared. The cost is ONLY $10 for a full 90 + minutes of focused, high intensity softball tryout preparation. Pre-registration is neither required nor accepted. Simply arrive between 5:15-5:30 PM with all gear that you intend to bring to your tryouts.

Extra attention will NOT be given to pitchers and catchers! This clinic is designed for the general softball player to help them understand what coaches are looking for in tryouts & help them deliver that in order to give them the best chance to shine and be noticed.

Just wanted to say that my daughter attended the first one of these clinics last Friday and it was the best $10 I've spent in a long time. It was a nice workout and reminder of the fundamentals. It's a great way to spend a Friday evening if you're near Lancaster.

Thank you, Reagan'sDaddy. We were blessed with a very special group of young ladies last Friday night who all were pretty driven and dedicated. I could tell by the look in their eyes that those girls wanted to be successful in their tryouts and they were absorbing all of the tips they were receiving.
Students like that make the instructors' job much easier.

The majority of the girls who came last Friday were between the ages of 8-13, however this is open to all players from 8-18.

We are BRAND NEW to the world of travel ball with our daughter's first try out on Sunday. Where is Field of Dreams located?

Field of Dreams is located at 731 Slocum St. in Lancaster. From Columbus, take 33 into Lancaster. Turn right on Fair Avenue (Walgreen's on right). Go approximately 1/4 mile & you will see a Dairy Queen on the left. That is Slocum St. Turn left onto Slocum & go 2 blocks. Field of Dreams is the 8,000 square foot building on your right.
The Tryout Preparation Clinic will begin promptly at 6:00. Last week we had 14 girls there. It is strongly recommended that you arrive between 5:15-5:30 so she has time to grab a partner & throw and then stretch her muscles prior to the clinic.
