Perrysburg looked very good last night. Kimmie put the ball wherever she wanted it. She had very good control and Granata had a couple of beautiful hits.

State Poll out today, and Oregon Clay # 1 , We look pretty smart on this poll, LOL.

Congrats to Clay...Keep it up! Must admit...I'm most suprised by 6, 7, and 8. I have not seen Defiance play so I have to rely on what I can find in print. Not sure what I missed, but I can't figure out their move up the chart. Can anyone help me out on this?

I dropped Defiance 2 spots in my poll.

I'm one of the HORRIBLE pollsters that didn't get my votes in.... boooo to me....but I haven't seen any scores for Elmwood ANYWHERE. Royal, I'm sure you can update me on record and opponents.

Same for Eastwood. We scrimmaged Eastwood on Good Friday and beat them 4-2 in a very game-like scrimmage. Saw and hit both pitchers and they didn't make any changes to their line-up. I know anything can happen on any day, but again, haven't seen many scores. Though I know they beat Tiffin Columbian, who is good, and we'll be seeing on Thursday.

I guess your thinking that Whitmer and Southview don't belong there. What is your thinking?

Based on the information I am able to find, I don't think Whitmer or SSV should be below Defiance. That's why I asked what I'm missing (other than my marbles...lol)?

Since returning from Tennessee, Elmwood lost to Perrysburg 3-1 in nine (both teams had opportunities to win it in regulation). Run Ruled North Baltimore and thumped McComb.

We play Eastwood tonight. SLL will start to take shape this week.

*Southview has lost to Springfield in 8, and Clay, that doesn't make them less than Defiance.
*Genoa seems to be struggling,...alot.
*Whitmer plays Clay tonight, let's see how that plays out.
* Who Knows about Clyde? I haven't seen a score where they've lost yet. A little help.....

With Genoa's P-Muncie out with sore/torn muscles in her ribcage, that REALLY hurts Genoa. Just on the rumor, that's the reason I moved Eastwood in and Genoa out on my poll. Elmwood beat Eastwood 1-0 last night (P-Foster for Eastwood pitched outstanding). There are some good games this week. It will be interesting to see where things fall by this weekend.

Blue Devil, Thunder, when are you guys rescheduling game? Coaches around league are hearing that Michalak might be hurt and was not in school friday. Please share what you know if you can.

Why was the game canceled? I have not heard if Ashlyn is injured, but Magic16 told me she was lights out against Archbold, also heard she signed with Owens, BTW congrats to Ashlyn on that. Owens is just an awesome deal, and Lanham is an incredible coach.

I might be wrong, somebody please correct me, but following the scores posted here and the days, did Michalak pitch 28 innings in 3 days? Thats a lot lol.

What I am hearing is at the cut off time 2pm it was still raining in Holland and the AD decided to call the game. I was not in town at that time.

The AW and Springfield game will be played 2nd week of May. (First NLL make up date) May 10th

Ashlyn did pitch 28 innings in less than 48 hours. When she left the game on Wednesday she was still throwing as hard and effective as the first inning. I was very proud of her grit and mental toughness. There is not a player that wants to compete and be rewarded with a win like her.

As for college- she has had many many opportunities from DI to DIII in state- out of state ect...She decided back in October that she wanted to hang it up and just be a student. However as HS practices started she decided to open it back up. At this point in time there is no definite decision on to where she will attended, however Ownens is at the top. It may be the best fit for her right now.

As for the rumors.....She was not in school on Thursday and did attended school on Friday. She is sore however no know injury at this time. She could have pitched Friday if needed.
