University of Akron's Teammates For Life Camp!

The ?TEAMMATES FOR LIFE? Camp was initiated by former Zips softball players from the 1981-84 teams as well as their former head coach Joey Arietta. These ?teammates for life? have put together a great clinic from which ALL PROCEEDS will benefit their former Zip, Vanessa Williams-Savage whose family just suffered the loss of their only parent, Jan Herron, to gastric cancer.

Vanessa?s youngest sister, Alicia Herron, is the 3-year starting shortstop at Ohio State University.

To support Vanessa and Alicia, current Ohio State players and staff will join former and current Zips players and staff for a great day at UA!
Instruction will include:

? Beginning and advanced pitching techniques
? Hitting, bunting and slapping instruction
? Defensive and positional skill instruction
? Base running tips and drills.

$50.00 per participant if registered before August 20!
$75.00 per participant for walk ups or late registration!

12:30 ? 12:45 p.m. --- Registration

1:00 ? 4:00 p.m. --- Drills/Instruction

? 1 hr. of Defense
? 1 hr. of Hitting
? 1 hr. of Base running, Speed/Agility Drills, and Teamwork Drills

This was a great Camp. Also was a nice surprise to see OSU Coach Kalafatis in attendance. My dd enjoyed meeting her.
