The camp is getting close. It's a great way to get a jump on the upcoming spring season. Check out Toledo's new facilities.

Recruiting is a year round never ending task. If a player pops up on the radar and it is felt that player can produce at the division 1 level then I would think yes a 2011 graduate would be considered. Attending camps is the best way to be "seen" by college coaches. Notify them ahead of time, sell yourself, let them know you are interested in their program and that you will be attending the camp and see where that leads. UT has their own medical campus so premed is a strong program. Hard to do and play D1 sports, but it is doable. I know a few of the current UT players are studying biomedical engineering, physical therapy, and speech pathology. The curriculum for those are not much different than the pre-med undergrads would take and some of those UT players are carrying 3.7 plus GPA's.

I believe it's for any age. The UT staff will break down the players by age and ability. They have plenty of help from the UT players. I know the UT team looks forward to the camp and giving back to the younger players. There will be younger players all the way up to high school age. I know my daughter talked about the great talent she saw at the 9 to 11 year olds last year. I think the UT players and coaches have a lot to teach the younger players, but they also learn a lot from the younger players too. The younger players bring excitment, spark, desire, attention, etc. Not that the UT players don't have some of those characteristics, but they get a chance to "go back." It's really a great day for all.
