Just came from Elyria and stopped at the fields on my way home. The fields are newly redone and looks GREAT! Plenty of parking (parking on two sides of park) and alot of extra area for teams to hang out and warm up. Couple of playgrounds for anyone that has little ones.

Does anyone know where I can find the results for the 16U Elyria tournament for Sunday play. It is not on their website. The only post I have seen is here for the final game. Would like to know how the other teams faired. I think this is where most tournaments fail to complete their task. They do alot of up front hype but when its over - they provide very little information.

I can tell you our scores. Quarterfinal game Nordonia 1 vs Diamond Dolls 0, Semifinal game Nordonia 5 vs Ohio Emeralds 1,
Championship Game Nordonia 0 vs North Coast Spirit 8.

In defense of the tournament hosts and the TD, they work so hard to put on this tournament or any tournament and then throw in some rain to screw up the schedules and it becomes a real headache. These guys had a 1:15 am update, they probably slept for 2 days after the tourney.

But... your point is valid and often I wish they would publish these scores

Thanks for the info. I am not putting down the tournament or the people involved. I am quite sure they are competent and doing a great job. I just belive in finishing the job. In todays electronic era,database driven website, e-mails. Information can easily be posted. A quick picture of the penciled in brackets works just fine.
