ASA Tournament UPDATED 2012 ASA 14U State Tournament

The 14U Class "A" State will be held at Deihl Field, High School Fields and Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio, and will be hosted by the Defiance Umpires Assoc.
DATE: June 22,23,24 2012
Entry Fee: $425.00. Make checks payable to Defiance Umpire Association.
This is an ASA Sanctioned Tournament and will be goverened by the 2012 ASA Official Rules.
Two Pool Games starting Friday. (Weather Permitting).
No time limit on bracket games.
Team check-in two hours before first scheduled game at Diehl Fields. (Main Complex).
All teams must have ASA# and completed signed Roster Form.
Must be able to show proof of accidential and libility insurance, and players Birth Certificate or ASA ID Card at check in.
Qualify for the 2012 ASA National Tournament in Sioux Fall, South Dakota: 7/29/2012 - 8/5/2012.
Managers and players wrist bands will be handed out at check-in.
Daily gate fee per individual $5.00, Multi-day pass available per individual $8.00. Preschool admitted free.

Wasn't there 5 last year in Cortland ?

How is it calculated ? Isn't it based on the total number of teams registered ? With all the new teams cropping up each year , I can't imagine that would cause a reduction.

I believe that at least one of the berths is now being administered through the Ohio-PA tournament that Bev Bilger is running in Canton.

play in anymore ASA/USA qualifying tournaments unless they for forfeit there
bid. They can play in a ASA/USA National Qualifier and play in all the
Eastern National's they want to.
