Urbana Girls Fastpitch "LunaChix" Board News - Updates

Ok, I have to say I'm a bit taken aback from these posts about someone else being our TD. Being the Treasure on the board of the "Lunachix" you'd think the board would've made this decision. However, no one on the board was aware of this and find out through a post on OFC?! And text messages and emails from parents wondering what's going on?!

My thing is he never asked anyone on the board for help with the tournaments. He said he would run these tournaments for our organization...he should have turned to his BOARD for help first! I think it's great that you guys want to help, but him making this decision when the "TD" is part of the board making decisions that is not fair to us. Just my opinion...not sure we were aware that all the money from those tourneys didn't go to us either...that could just be me though...not sure about the others on the board...

Ricky...you don't know everything that has gone on in OUR organization...you are getting things from one side! So please keep all your comments about "power play" to yourself! Once you KNOW all sides of the story then maybe you can comment on them....

I completely agree! That's what I'm in it for...good lord I don't even have a kid old enough to play ball yet and I'm coaching...for the love of the game and the kids! Mine's only 3!!! (T-ball here we come!)

I just got off the Phone with Board President Mr Bob Johnson. He stated to me that he was unaware of the above messages being post by bocephus, on behalf of the Board.


He did tell me that all party's made a agreement that they wouldn't make any public statements and the board had Requested that Jon change his old LunaChix avtar and would remove anything that connect Jon with the
Urbana Girls Fastpitch or "LunaChix" softball organizations.

And Jon reply with this Request ASAP when he resign.


since bocephus didn't follow the agreement that he was part of. He has been places into Moderation all his post will be read by OFC - Staff before posting.

When I talk to Mr Johnson today the 1st Time.. He said he was unaware of this post..

He called me back later today then told me that he was was wrong, and that yes they did say it was ok to post the message.

Both your messages will be move into the correct section but they will be removed from the Tournament Tread..

I didn't miss quoted Mr. Bob Johnston. So please don't say I miss quoted someone.

When I talk with him the 1st Time on my Dime, He said he was unaware of the post or message.

But when he called me back on his dime, he then told me that the Board did ok the post.

So, are the tournaments Jon is/was/are running still on or are they now just a Jon Allison tournament or are they going to be ran by the New/Old LunaChix.

These are Jon Allison tournaments and will benefit the Urbana Rec Leagues...we are running our own tournaments so be on the look out for tournaments to support our teams!
