URGENT!!! Non Profits must file with IRS by today or risk losing their status!!!!

This is a reminder. All non profits that have not filed an income tax return in the last three years MUST file a 990-N or at least send an e-postcard to the IRS today or your 501c3 status will be wiped out. Here is a link to the IRS page.

You can also file for an automatic extension - I think it is a form 8868 ... it has to be postmarked today ... will give you 3 additional months to get the 990-N completed and filed.

Depends on when your organizations fiscal year ends. This deadline is for orgs that have a fiscal year that ends on 12/31. It is also important to note that is for orgs that bring in receipts of less than 25k. I would imagine if you have 3 or more teams you are probably bringing in 25k or more and therefore filing the normal 990.
