Just a couple things to say on this tournament.
First of all, Thank You Conrad! I realize this tournament had some issues that need to be fixed for next year, but overall we got to play all our games in spite of the rain delay, and I know all the hard work you put in to this tourney for months leading up to it. So Thank You to you and all the other people who worked to put this on. And for those of you who have not gotten the opportunity to get to know Conrad, he is already calling meetings and rallying volunteers to make next years tourney even better. West Muskingum Schools has instituted pay to play as of June 1 this year, I think this will go a long way towards helping this players get the opportunity to play high school and middle school ball once all the bugs are worked out for next year.
And I have another Class Act I have to mention, we met the Buckeye Heat coaches and team at this tournament and they were truly just that, a Class Act. My dd and I and our other coaches enjoyed getting to play their team and speak with their coaches after the games.

I will give credit where credit is due and I agree, I think Conrad is a standup guy for coming here and explaining how things went wrong and what happened. And for the record, I know it is not his fault that the officiating left a lot to be desired. There was some great teams in this tournament, all of the teams gave us great games, especially the nail biter between us and the bullets (great pitcher and catcher) and the last game when we played the Extreme (excellent defense). We also enjoyed playing Phoenix Fastpitch, great sportsmanship and nice coach. We did not face Buckeye Heat 96, but watched some of their games, they seem to be very well coached. Hats off to Lady Blaze, we did not face them either, but they looked very solid all the way around.
