Well We would love to but it seems there is a problem. Almost everyone wants late games and at least 10 teams will have to play 8:30am so I have a feeling we may have teams dropping. I have a couple of alternates but until I get this all cleared up we can't do a schedule.

Looks like this tourney is getting more attention than the other local tourney being played the same weekend, so let's keep it going. We just want to play where the action is. Any more 16's interested as we would prefer to play up?

registration is terrible this year in tournaments. This one is good, but the others out there are very slow. We may just go to TN in mid October.

Hey Les, for a haunting good time go to the Hawktober Fest Tourney 10/9 -10. I will be there and that is scary.

Looks like about 10 12u's signed up so far and 6 14u's. Take your team trip to the Haunted trail and Houses.

The Youth Girls Fall Fast Pitch is full. We apologize we can not accommodate more teams. Due to the overwhelming response next year we will divide the tournament in to two weekends. Sept 17-18 will be the 10/12 divisions and 14/16 divisions will be played on Sept 24-25. In past years we have not had more than a max of 12 teams total and some years (2009) we even had to cancel the tournament due to lack of interest. Due to this trend we did book Fall Baseball leagues for the evening hours at Expressway Park which has us with a limited amount of playing time for the Girls Fast Pitch. Once again we don't like to turn teams away and we apologize.

The Expressway website says that the game times will be posted no later than Wednesday, the 22nd. Why it takes that long, when the tournament has been listed as being full for some time, is anybody's guess.

Bob's reasoning makes sense... not normal but when can anyone call "Fall Ball" normal. So much uncertainty and at the end of the day (as OQM knows) he has to make some cash. I don't fault him for it. And yes, the odds are better .

Yea, it's a tough balancing act. If they didn't schedule anything else that weekend and left it open for fastpitch no fastpitch teams would have signed up. But they schedule some other things and try to have some balance and they get flooded with fastpitch. They can't make money if the park is empty. Those that wanted in but couldn't need to sign up earlier for their tourneys.
