Overview:
Our 03 Valley team was competitive and has an overall winning record for the 11u season. Our record against other 11u teams for 2014-15 season was 20-4, with three of the losses coming from one opponent. We beat many tough older teams and lost some tight games. We have a core group of girls but currently have openings in all positions. Most of our players live in Mahoning and Trumbull counties in NE Ohio.
We utilize an indoor facility for six months, from November through April. A necessity in NE Ohio. Our winter practices will be consistently scheduled (same days and times). We encourage these young athletes to play other sports and will be as accommodating as possible. We also expect to rent YSU WATTS fields multiple times in the upcoming winter. This enables full indoor scrimmages or practices. We then move practices outdoors in April and May. In the fall of 2014, we played one tournament and competed in many scrimmages (fall ball).
Note, many organizations charge higher up front fees and often they do not even cover other expenses such as winter facility rental. The fee you pay VALLEY is the maximum amount you will pay. Plus we offer non-mandatory fund-raising options that can significantly lower overall fee to play.
The organization has open public tryouts Saturday, August 15, but it is reccomended you contact one of the coaches for a private tryout if you are interested.
