Valley Sting 10U 5th At Pony Nationals

Congratulations to the 10U Valley Sting on thier 5th place finish at the Pony National Championships this week in Niles. These amazing young ladies collected 9 1st place, 1 2nd place and 1 3rd place finishes this summer to go along with the 5th place at Nationals. These young ladies played hard all season long and did the Mahoning Valley and state of Ohio proud and showed some teams from MD,NY,CT,VA,and PA how softball is played in Ohio. Thanks to all of the coaches fans and especially to all of the dedicated parents and players who helped make this season such a success.

Five of the girls will be moving up to 12u with a solid core of six players remaining at the 10u. Tryout info for all of the Sting teams can be found in the "Coach needs player, team tryouts" forum.

Congratulations to my Valley Sting 10U team: Alliyah, Ally, Brooke, Emily P., Emily R., Jessica, McKenzie, Mercedes, Shannon, Sierra, and Somer. I am very proud of each and every one of you. We had a great year and we topped it off with a 5th place in Nationals. I wish Rich, Mike, and George the best of luck with the 10U team next year. They have a great group of girls to build on. For the girls that move up, I look forward to coaching you all again and building a great 12U program. I would also like to thank my wife Theresa, my coaches Demetra and Jane and all the parents who helped out in making this a great season.
