Valpo to Host Fall Softball Camp

Valparaiso softball head coach Jordan Stevens and the Crusader softball program will be hosting a one-day fall softball camp on Sunday, September 16 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The camp, open to athletes in grades 9-12, is a new and exciting style of camp designed to provide athletes a close-up look as to what a typical day in the life of a college athlete is like, with a focus on the softball aspects.
The camp will feature three training sessions designed to specifically work on hitting, pitching or defense, as well as one ?classroom? session where athletes can pick an area of interest to learn more about. Campers will also get a free t-shirt and free lunch, and will have the opportunity to play two games with and against other campers, officiated by certified umpires.
The cost of the camp is $130, and registration is limited to 60 total athletes on a first-come, first-served basis. It is also limited by position, and athletes must register by position.
