I am looking for Head Coach's that have tremendous passion for teaching. I had two outstanding coaches with that passion but for very good reason those coach's had to step down late in this past season. I don't just add coach's without going through a process of discussion and interview. My mission is to build a strong Central Ohio program that is committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game and challenging our players. The focus on preparing them for the next level...High School then on to college. In order to prepare them we need to focus on teaching these areas:
- fundamental skill sets (Example: Right View Pro for hitting)
- advanced skill sets
- community service
- recruiting
- college campus life
- scholarship opportunities
- Grant opportunities
- ACT/SAT preparation
- giving back to the game
- goal setting & tracking success
Please understand that I am not looking for the Dad that wants control for his daughter. I am looking for some who love to coach and teach and mentor. If I only have one or two teams in my organization every year then so be it. All coaches that work in this organization will need to be students of the game. Constantly learning about the art of coaching. Our coach's need to work to build their teams...make each individual player a champion. Bring them together via blood, sweat & tears!! The trophy won is a fantastic gauge for success but not the ultimate goal! Success is defined by the person setting the goal!!
