My wife and I attended the Opening of the "Gift of Lights Show" at Victory Sports Park. The light Show is nice and from what we were told will continue to grow by an estimated 30% each year! They have all the ball fields withy lights on them and a ton of lights in the Soccer Field area. It is a drive through event, so you stay warm! I was going to provide some pictures, but my editing skills are pretty bad and could not make them work to add in here. It is a nice way to spend some time over the Holidays.
It was also nice to get a look at the facilities and the main party was held in the Concession Building which is about 95% finished and 100% finished for use at tournaments. The restrooms are complete, the patio upstairs is done and all doors are on the lower building so it can be closed in if the weather turns bad. Many of us know the long term project this facility was for many reasons. As such, was really nice to see how well the Park has developed.
My best wishes to all for the Christmas and the New Year!
