The Central Ohio Lady Vipers will be holding an ASA "A" NATIONAL QUALIFIER on October 8th & 9th at Pickerington Central High School. This is one of the nicest facilities in Ohio for a fastpitch tournament!

How many teams are you taking for each age group?

We originally planned on 8 teams in 16U, 14U, & 12U...4 teams in the 10U division. With all the interest in 14U so far we may expand that division to 16 or more. We currently have 11 teams interested in 14U, 4 in 16U , 6 in 12U, and 1 in the 10U division.(10U is typically last to fill) We just posted this tournament last week, I'm sure once teams get set from tryouts we will start filling up.

I will have the teams interested posted later today or tomorrow and the entry form will be posted as well. The sooner we can fill up these divisions the better...we have access to other great facilities if we need to add them. I will not add teams late to make a few extra bucks and then scramble to find fields, etc. We take a lot of pride in our tournaments and how organized they are...teams will have schedules early UNLESS we have issues filling that age group and have to wait a little longer.

Tournament is starting to move! Looks like some great teams and we're starting to get several out of state teams inquiring as well! Not sure you will find a better 14U group in a fall tournament from the way it's shaping up...Strong teams and organizations! 12U is gaining momentum, you can tell tryouts are almost over.


Teams will be updated and posted daily on the 1st Page(1st post). In the next week or two I will start posting "Paid" or "Interested" and we will have the number of slots available. "Interested" means spot is still available as the date starts moving closer and we will accept entries on a first come basis.

I saw that Ohio Ice Silver is listed as a 14U team. I believe they are a 95 team, and I thought Ohio Ice Blue(Cole) was also playing 16U. I was wondering if they are actually in the 16U group or there is another Ohio Ice team.

Ice - Silver 14U is coached by Shannon Maday...That's all I know.

And yes, I think Ice - Cole is now 16U...We will probably play them another 10 times next season!!!!!

Yes, we still have plenty of room. We are going to accept entries up to 9/20/11 and we would love to have you join us. ASA has requested we get our tournament field set so they can schedule umpires as needed.
