Must have been the early tournaments he had last year when that happened. Nothing but complaints in the early events concerning umpires.

Actually, it was the very last tourney we played down there last year. I cannot for the life of me remember what the name of the tourney was though. And you are right about the beginning of the year umpiring, it was MUCH worse. Got better towards the end of the year.

That's because I brought in my umpires to do the two July events because of all the bad comments on his umpires in the early tournaments.
He's back to scheduling them himself.
