In the past they have also not allowed tents. ?It sure would be nice to be able to setup the tents for the ladies when they are not playing, so they have a place to "chill out". ?I don't know about other teams, but we will be there for over 13 hours on Saturday.

I live in the neighborhood across the street from Pacesetter and we use it a lot for my younger daughter's teams (she is young and still on rec level)

Tents are ?not allowed on the grounds ?>:( ?I hate that about the park!

As far coolers, normally they are allowed in the park, but you may be stopped by the people that man the gates if the TD decided against them or if the concession company decided against them. ?We have always brought in jugs and water bottles and not had issue.

Pets are NOT allowed.

If we were to be home, I'd let you chill at my place... but we will be at Homecoming park

Thanks for the offer LadyIrish96 (may take you up on it in the future) ?;) :D

So are you saying we can bring in a cooler with bottles of water, or only water jugs with cups???

Appreciate the info!

Normally you can bring coolers. ?I am pretty sure that they will not stop jugs. We bring ?coolers in all the time. ?But, this is a bigger event and I am not sure if the gate keepers will stop you. Try it and play dumb if they try to stop you :)

What team are you with?

We played there last year and got there early on saturday and got our cooler in. But on sunday we had a later game and were told no coolers at the gate. My advice is to get there early find a tree and park under it for the day.

Try freezing some bottles of water and put them in an empty ball bucket with a lid. ?Then just carry this into the park with your other softball equipment. ?Problem solved!

We also always have our daughter carry in a small cooler with water, ice, and wet rags, for the games that she plays catcher. ?She carries this in with her softball equipment. Most times she isn't even stopped at the gate.

This is a pacesetter park rule. When we played there in the past they allowed small coolers for the players. 6 pack size. Trying to get more of the parents money. My issue has always been what if you are a big family with young children. pay $2 to keep those youngsters watered down.

If you can't bring a cooler and have to buy water at a higher price from the concession at least organize the concession stand so that you don't have to miss two innings to get a couple of bottles.

DD plays for the 16u Maumee Thunder. ?Good advice---for some reason, playing dumb seems to come pretty easily to me. ?;) ::) :D

Trying to provide water for the whole team (some girls only bring a single bottle for a double header ?), so just went out and picked up a big water jug with cups, just in case can't get the cooler with water bottles in.

Good luck to all and keep cool, it's gonna be a hot, muggy weekend. ?:p

Hey y'all---just got off the phone with someone named Brian @ Pacesetter---said we CAN bring in coolers with ice and bottled water for the teams, just need to keep them in the dugouts.

Yippee!!! :D

Our team starts their travel season today.

I dont know about the rest of you but from going from the 50's just 2 weeks ago to the 90's this weekend is going to be brutal for the girls as well as us parents.

I have been looking foward to this day for 9 months. Lets get it on.

I hope all the teams get out of the experience of this season what they were hoping for.

Last year our team played at the Tune-up. I didn't know about the no cooler rule. I took my cooler in the park, no one stopped me. However, a guy on a golf cart drove up to me and wanted to look in the cooler. I just had 3 or 4 bottles of water and a couple of apples, he told me it was okay, they just didn't want coolers loaded with a bunch of food. So the next day, I just left the cooler in the trunk and went out when needed and brought in my stuff that way.
